Neusiedler See-Seewinkel national park: over 300 bird species, salt pans, reed belts.
Lake Neusiedl is the westernmost steppe lake in Europe, its water slightly saline. More than 300 bird species live in the protected area; the reed belt serves as breeding, resting and wintering ground. There is something to watch in every season.
Ten minutes away by car, guided discovery tours set out into the Seewinkel, with a programme that changes weekly.
